Creating Strategic ECM Partnerships on the Internet (CTGE 442J, CEUs: 0.7)

 

This course will provide entreprenuers and managers of e-commerce businesses with an overall understanding of the business development process in the Internet industry.   Examples will be drawn from both the business to business market as well as the business to consumer marketplace, and will include real world examples.  Topics include:
  • How to identify your targets for strategic partnerships
  • How to segment your targets into three tiers
  • An overview of the business development process, including identifying leads, developing sales presentations, preparing term sheets, and negotiating contracts
  • A review of key business terms in Internet business development deals
  • An overview of software technologies that support the business development process

OBJECTIVE:                      

Give you a strong understanding of Strategic Partnerships.

ACTIVITIES:                      

Overview lecture on the Business Development process.  Interactive discussions drawing on both positive and negative experiences from those in attendance, as well as experiences from the Instructor.

PREREQUISITES:               

Experience and strong interest in the Internet.
