![]() Experiences from all of those economies can [and will] provide us with important lessons that can be used effectively in the Information Economy. “ECM: Old Economy to the Information Economy: Moving from one to the other” is an advanced course for the ECM certificate program and will focus on the important lessons that can be gleaned from the Old Economies, and How those lessons can be applied effectively to leverage success in the information economy. Topics include:
OBJECTIVE: Stimulate creative thinking into how the lessons from past experience can be applied to meet the challenges we face today and those to come in the future. ACTIVITIES: Interactive discussion drawing both
positive and negative examples from those in attendance. Class exercises both
onsite and between classes followed by group presentations in class. Active use
of on-line resources will provide tools that those in attendance can use well
beyond the course. Case studies and group presentations with sufficient time for
challenging and defending positions taken. PREREQUISITES: At least 3 years of business experience, significant access to the Web for both e-mail and surfing, desire to understand how E-commerce effects all aspects of companies, not just how to implement a tactical solution. |
