Metrics: Measuring the Effects of ECM Changes (CTGE 442K, CEUs: 0.6)

After a business implements its e-commerce solution, how does it know that it is successful?  What are the best or correct measurements to use?  Do existing metrics work?  Learn how to develop metrics that measure the changes in the business processes used for e-commerce and that are still linked to the overall measurements model of the business.  Using project teams, this course will generate a metrics set to demonstrate ECM success for external business implementations.

Key course topics are:

·        Driving change with measurements.

·        Aligning change metrics with the overall business strategic objectives

·        Development of linked metrics

·        Development of metrics for e-commerce implementation

OBJECTIVE:  To develop a system of linked metrics that can be used to the success of an e-commerce implementation.

ACTIVITIES:  Classroom lecture and discussion followed by a team outside project to develop metrics at an e-commerce implementation
