This is the wrap-up course in the ECM Certificate
program. You work in a self-supervised workgroup to solve a problem or issue
(selected by the group) which demonstrates the knowledge you have learned in the
ECM program. At the final session, the group presents its project results. There
is a small lecture component of this course presenting concepts and ideas on how
to think outside the box. Topics include: - Review
of techniques used to work in unsupervised, disparate work groups
- Techniques
for thinking outside the box
- Brain-storming of projects
to be worked on
- Group
presentations of final results
Note:
This course meets for 6 hours (0.6 CEUs) on campus.
Since the outside classroom assignment will take 20-25 hours to complete, there
is an additional 0.6 CEUs granted for this outside coursework. Prerequisites:
Completion of at least 8 courses in the ECM Certificate
program. |
